Fault Current & SCCR Label

This policy describes how Uladzislau Yasinski (“we”, “us”), the developer of Fault Current & SCCR Label (the “App”), handles information when you use the App on iPhone and iPad. The App is published under the Field Tools name. Contact: support@fieldtools.app.
The App is a field calculator for available fault current and for comparing that current with equipment AIC or SCCR. It can prepare an NEC 110.24 or CEC label and, with the one-time Pro purchase, a point tree, motor contribution, labels, an equipment list, named jobs, and a method report. It is not an account service and it does not include advertising.
What stays on your device
The App is built to work without an account and without sending your job data to us.
On the device we store only what the App needs to run:
- the code you pick on first launch (NEC or CEC), theme, and the gloves display setting;
- the calculations you enter: system, source, transformer, conductors, lengths, motor data, AIC or SCCR values, point trees, equipment lists, job names, and dates;
- a local history of recent calculations and, when you use Pro, the jobs and reports you save;
- a local flag that remembers whether Pro was last known to be active, so the unlock still works if the store cannot be reached.
That information stays in the App’s storage on your device. We do not receive it. A label, PDF, or report leaves the device only when you print it or share it through iOS. The system share sheet and the printer are Apple’s, not ours.
Deleting the App deletes this local data. Uninstalling does not cancel a purchase. Restore Purchases brings Pro back on a device signed in with the same Apple ID.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or Apple ID. We do not run advertising or analytics. We do not use the App to track you across other companies’ apps and websites, and we do not access the advertising identifier.
Job data you type — utility letters, transformer data, feeder lengths, equipment ratings — is not uploaded to us.
Purchases
Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase through Apple In-App Purchase. There is no subscription. Apple processes the payment. We never see your card number, your Apple ID email, or your billing address.
To unlock Pro and to restore it, the App talks to Apple and to RevenueCat, Inc., which checks the receipt and tells the App whether the `pro` entitlement is active. For that check, RevenueCat receives:
- an anonymous app user identifier that the purchase software creates on the device (we do not set your name or email on it);
- the product identifier, entitlement status, and related purchase information Apple provides for validation;
- technical data needed to answer the request, such as platform, app version, and the IP address of the connection.
We use that information only to know whether Pro is active and to restore it. We do not use it for advertising. RevenueCat acts as our service provider for purchases. Their policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple’s handling of the payment is covered by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
If the store cannot be reached, the App keeps the last Pro state saved on the device.
Email you send us
If you write to support@fieldtools.app, we receive the address you send from and whatever you put in the message. Use that address to report a data-table error or to ask a privacy question. Do not send secrets you do not want a person to read. We keep the message only as long as we need to answer it and to handle a follow-up about the same issue, then delete it from the mailbox we control.
Children
The App is a tool for electricians, inspectors, and engineers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App Store age rating does not mean the App is made for children.
How long purchase data is kept
The anonymous purchase record is kept while we need it to honor the one-time unlock and to restore Pro. Local calculation data stays until you delete it in the App or delete the App.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EEA, the United Kingdom, and US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, to object to or limit certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because we never receive your calculations, the information we can actually look up is the anonymous purchase record and any email you sent us.
To ask, email support@fieldtools.app. We may need the approximate date of the purchase and the Apple ID country or storefront so we can find the anonymous record. You can also ask Apple to handle purchase records tied to your Apple ID. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context advertising.
International use
The App is offered on multiple App Store storefronts. Purchase checks may be processed in the United States, where Apple and RevenueCat operate, and in other countries where their infrastructure runs. We do not move your job files off the device.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will replace this text and update the date above. The public address of the policy stays the one listed for the App in App Store Connect.
